Inspiration close to home...kind of...

My workout partner...( and I use that term loosely. We've worked out together for over 4 years but really not at all since last Spring when I started all this triathlon nonsense and tried to escape the gym) has a sister...
and her sister is HAWT. See above! She just did her first comp!! Now, I am inclined to believe she brought her ALL to the table!! No second guessing if she got herself lean enough, dontcha think?

Hi Shellene :o)
Hope you are having a great start to your Monday!
How's PDL going? I'm really loving it!

Also loving The First Easter!! Have you started it yet, Helen? It's just so so good!!

For the first time in my life and the especially the first time going through PDL, I can see a concrete area of ministry in my future (home of grace, health/fitness/diet based bible studies, etc.) I'm stoked. Maybe I didn't have as much progress before because my character wasn't where it needed to be. God has been showing me areas to work on such as loving others (which is major for me because I have kinda isolated myself the last few years), building relationships with other believers, and perseverance and focus when he puts plans in my heart. Thanks for leading me there!

Shellene, I just have to say it again. I totally feel like we are going through a lot of the sames things right now.
I just feel like I'm supposed to be doing something with bible studies/with fitness/ with body perception/to include my faith.

I've also isolated myself along with Steve these last 6 years since having kids. It can be tough to break out of.

I just feel a real connection with everyone in this PDL study. Each one of you has made comments that made me stop and think or inspired me in some other way either through your blogs or your awesome character during this study. Thank you all so much for following it through to the end. Can you believe Easter is almost here???

Jules - And, I know that you've been reading my blog, so I'm right there with you. I feel a tremendous calling to get this right for myself so that I can help others win against the sin of gluttony and food addiction, starting first with my church. Glad to have someone being called in the same vein.

I do think she is hawt and I do think she brought it. I do admire the work that went into such a creation, but at the same time I find it sad that near death looking starvation has become hawt in our culture.

How else are you going to see the muscle though right?

Cheers!
