Some Days...

...you are thinking about your cousin and can't believe that last summer you were playing with him like when you were kids, that just in December he was making you laugh with his laugh, and now he is gone...

...or that it is two years ago tomorrow that your honored teammate, sweet Natasha, passed away and you know her grandma and her best friend are having a really tough time today...

...or that your newest precious family member might face surgery for a hole in her heart...and she is just so little...

...and you just don't know what to do except let the tears roll down your face.

So you take a day off, you cuddle up on the couch and you read a good book and you are thankful that these amazing children of God have been a part of your life.

Some days...you just cry...
...and that's ok.

I agree. Having a good cry is sometimes the only way to get it all out.
And it's comforting to know that there IS a plan and a purpose for all of this. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Julie--my heart goes out to you and your family and friends and loved ones. Squeeze your babies tight tonight. I totally agree that letting the tears fall down is necessary at times. Stay strong. xoxo

What a touching and heartfelt post Julie. I am tearing up with you. I know it's hard to bear your soul to the world, but also healing as well. My thoughts are still with the little one, and for you and your family who have lost loved ones.

Thanks everyone. My heart just felt so heavy today for everyone who was left behind. The children, the grandma, the wife, all of those who loved them.

Baby Katelyn will possibly be having surgery, so thank you for continued prayers.

I went for a run with my team. I'm feeling better for it.

Julie,
I am glad you were able to get out and run with your team.
These things are SO hard. This world isn't easy. Blessed that you could lean on us and on Him today.

I'm sorry I missed this and the chance to send you my virtual hug. I'm praying for that sweet baby. I think sometimes it's important to be able to just take those days and let yourself feel the sadness, even though some times it's almost overwhelming.
