That's 2 minutes and 48 seconds that tastes like one grand. I just changed my tires about 10 times. Got the rear tire stuck so bad that swearing and plyers and the need of my husband were involved to get it back off the bike. Lesson learned...which is good - because that would have sucked to do that during a race.
2 mins 48 seconds was my record tire changing time. Thanks Steve, for making me practice practice and practice again!
Now I'm off to do a 30 mile hilly solo ride. I'm so not into solo rides... But at least it's a nice day! Later Gators.

Your making those of us who have done nothing about practicing this look bad... :)
You go girl! The money is in your pocket!
That's awesome - it takes me about have half hour to get my damn tire back on the wheel.
Way to rock those tire changes!
That's wicked fast! I usually lollygag it after I'm done cursing.
Ooh-impressive!! Hope your solo ride is going well!!
Awesome, Julie! You rock. I, on the other hand, take about that long to get the wheel off. :)
2:48 is too long you must be lagging in T1.
J/K very nice !!
ha! nice PR!
Hahaha ... you think we're alligators! Sometimes it takes me over two minutes to tie my shoe in a race - a flat tire would take me 'til noon!
Wow good job, it would have taken me 2 hours and 48 minutes.
hahaah! Awesome. I would have no idea what to do when it comes to changing a tire.
you go! you go wash your hands! you go get that grand!
