Pac Crest is ON

Road is completely plowed and open...I guess our 1/2 Ironman is a GO @ Pac Crest...
I'll tell you now that the snow is deceiving. We will likely have temps in the upper 80s-90s on race day. The bike course is not easy but I'm looking forward to it! Kids have been known to throw snowballs at you upon request. Let the good times roll....

Wow! So there is just that much build up that it doesn't melt! Have fun and good luck!

Woooohooo! Love that shot! Yes- totally deceiving. And the altitude will be "refreshing" too!
Maybe you had better arm yourself for the ride with a few of your own snowballs.

Yahooooo!! Go get 'em, girl!!

btw, that road looks just like the 14er (14,000' peak) we run in late June - the snow sometimes is 5x our height. Well....of course I'm not running it this year :(.

That is beautiful! It's hard to imagine that much snow. It must take forever for it all to melt.
