That reminds me of a conversation a long time ago with a co worker, I was "explaining for the umpf-teen time" what a triathlon is, when one co worker turn to me and said, "So you swim, ride a motorcycle, then run? seems kinda funny" I tried hard not to laugh, but I couldnt hold it in.
My husband has a motorcycle and I LOVE riding with him! He really enjoys getting out on his bike. There is something freeing about it. You really get all the smells and sounds of the outdoors.
OMG, my drink came out my nose reading BDDs comment! I used to have a little Honda scooter - not quite as badass, but oh how I loved the feel of the wind in my face!
Great photos Julie!! Ya know...my first "real" ride on a bike was in high school when this hot guy offered to take me on his Ninja. I had no idea what he was going to do-- where he was going to go. I thought around the block... In hind sight, not so smart, I guess... Anyhow, He took me on about an hour ride, passing many a car. And pointed to the odometer, which at that point was over 100! I was wearing shorts and a tanktop and a helmet- thank God. I still ride when I get the chance (not too often since I need to find a sitter for that). My hubby and I ride his on road/off road. It's scarier now that i am older for some reason.
how funny! YES! I 'ride'...I do not 'DRIVE'. As a birthday gift to my husband 2 years ago I went and bought myself a helmet and a sissy bar for his harley. We get out only a couple times a year together...but it is still fun!! Maybe we need to meet up for a 'ride' someday!! :)
You're brave. Motorcycles scare me. I haven't been on one - only a 4 wheeler and 3 wheeler when I was really little. Mostly I'm scared when I have to drive by them. I'm always afraid they might hit something and then fall and I'll run over them. Okay - yeah, I sound like I totally need help!

my ex-boyfriend had one and it was the only one i rode on--and that was only 3x’s on back roads going really slow. :) they scare the $#it out of me :)
