I had a run on the calendar so I picked myself up as best I could ~I was up at 4am with a snoring husband and couldn't get back to sleep :-(

and headed out to the golf course for two trips around the loop - 4 miles. It hurt. I won't lie. It hurt bad. I've never seen so many people there on a Winter day, either. I was almost hit by a golf ball 4 or 5 times ...
...and those damn F.A.T. squirrels kept trying to trip me up at every turn. This picture doesn't really show how F.A.T. he really was...and he was a small one! they are the funniest little (F.A.T.) squirrels you will ever see. They come right up to you with this little "please hand over all your peanuts" look and if you aren't paying attention, you will actually step on the F.A.T.= slow little buggers.
To bed...yes, it's only 6:50 and I'm going down fast...

Sometime around mile 4 in the race, a squirrel ran like a bat out of hell in front of me and across the road. I laughed so hard that I thought I was going to have to stop running. He definitely wasn't fat, but maybe he was high on speed. :-)
I love the pics of your kids. They always make me smile. Almost as much as that crazy squirrel! :-)
