Free Is Better

We had plans to go to the aviation and space museum that holds the Spruce Goose and see a paper airplane show that looked pretty cool, but the weather turned out nicer than we thought and since the museum would have set us back close to $60 and The Japanese Garden was free today....
guess where we went.

The kids had fun with their treasure maps trying to find all the different statues and other things of interest. No Koi to be found today, though. Mai liked the white rock garden.

 There were even a few trees in bloom

We played at Washington Park

 

and then headed out for my favorite Thai Burrito at Pepita's before heading home. It was nice to have the four of us all doing something together.
