The Weekend

Friday's schedule included returning to the school twice for the biggest fund-raiser of the year. The kids were so surprised when Grammy showed up to support them!
Mai ran...

Jack got tired quickly...

Mama is a slug at fund raising, so we actually raised ZIP.
BUT...still had fun.

Prepped for the big game...

Jack had his first archery class. Can't believe I forgot the camera. He was awesome! I'll definitely get pics next week.

Drove down to Eugene and watched the Ducks kick some serious Stanford butt to a beautiful sunset...

Wrote a poem in my head to the woman next to me:
"I love spirit!
Yes, I do!
But lady in seat 28,
I SO DO NOT LIKE YOU!"

Talk about a crazy fan! I almost killed her.

Arrived home to find the kids wound up on brownies and Oreos and stinkin' up MY bed...

Woke up to more talk of how we kicked some serious Stanford butt...

Arrived back home with plenty of weekend time left for reading my new addiction...
FREEDOM.
...which I thoroughly hated at first and now have been dragged in to so much debauchery that I can't manage to get back out.
Must. Finish. It.

I started reading Freedom... well, I read about 10 pages and thought "this book is crap" and haen't bothered reading any more. So it gets better? Maybe I'll give it another go.

Michelle,
Once I got to Patty's autobiography (page 27) I started getting a tiny more interested and then when she gets to college and Richard enters the picture, I got a little addicted...

Julie, I didn't know you were a poet! I have written many poems similar to yours in the past...a few more COLOURFUL words mind you, but still similar!!! LOL

Seriously, were those crazy fans sitting near you? LOL
