Brr cold, Brr Cold
Sittin' on an ice pack
Whoop, about to slip down
Lord, I'm so tired
How long can this go on?
Made it to 3 miles today and now I'm freezing my fanny off.
As well as my elbow...
Can someone invent a full body ice pack that I can slip on a couple of times a day while I'm working?
Good new, though...
I increased from 2 to 3 miles today by using some great chi running info from Amanda At Run To The Finish and RUNNING TALL!!! It helped my pain in the A$$ A.LOT.

:( Sorry about that!
The icebath is the full body ice treatment ...lol. But YAY on increasing by a mile :)
My sound is working again- thank goodness
DEVO, ice baths and pains in the a$$, this is a great blog post.
The ice bath would seem to hit all the right areas...just hard to work while taking one ;-)
Fine. I'll take a break from work...just for you. If I could just get the tv into the bathroom I could catch up on The Kardashians or Kendra or someone else really important like that :-)
One of my friends is going to teach me chi running methods soon. I'm looking forward to it.
There are constantly free chi running workshops here in San Diego but I never go. I guess I should.
Ice is your best friend :)
A full body ice-suit would be pretty nice (and awful), wouldn't it?
Look at you being good and icing!! I've been so cold lately, I don't think I could ice, lol!
Tell Mai that I want to be in her club too :)
And I loved your post on your visit with Michael. Such a great reminder to really take some time and focus on people. That's exactly what Jesus did when he was here!
Good job on getting 3 miles in!
They say everybody has two million dollar ideas per year - that full body ice pack might be yours!
Gotta go check out this chi running. I was icing today too...only my icing didn't look as cool. i had a bag of corn strapped around my hamstring with an old ace bandage a i walked around getting things done. My hammy is screaming at me again. boo. Hope your icing helps.
I hope you feel better. I would be nice to just slip into an ice bath suit. Somewhere I remember reading about these bandage like things that wrap around whatever area you wanted and they stayed cold for hours. They were reusable too. I'll have to see if I can find it for you.
Thanks for your tips on the veggies. I can never fit all that in but fine dicing it would help! Thanks!
Chi Running is great. It's form is a lot like barefoot running! :)
Jen,
I just heard someone talking about those the other day. I might have to check into it. The butt icing is fine because I can just sit on a pack, but the elbow...I need to rig something up.
Here it is.
Check it out!

thanks Jen!
I tried to buy some on line but shipping was more than the product so I'm going to try to find them in a store here.
Chi running rocks. I still have a PIA though, although a tolerable one, if there is such a thing.
Yay for going from 2-3 miles!! That is definitely good :) I have a love/hate relationship with icing, as i'm sure most do. I'm picturing you in a full body ice suit and i love it...hahaha awesome! I hope the ice is helping!!
Have you tried an ice bath? I have had many runner friends tell me they work wonders!! I can't bring myself to actually take one though! So for now I am sticking to ice packs too :) Hehe!
Love Devo. So sorry for your sore butt. No fun. Ice bath? SO COLD. But it really helps. I put on a fleece coat and hat and...well that won't help your elbow now will it. Huh. Ice bath with an elbow wrap maybe?
Feel better.
Hmmm am not a fan of cold or icy baths. Have heard that they work wonders though. You should be able to get arcticease at the CVS...I have seen them there.
Bummer! I am going to work on a full body ice pack for you!! YAY for increasing mileage gorgeous girl! Okay, two c-sections...wow, I can't even imagine! Thanks for the sweet comment today:)
Natalia ~ I had to look no further than our medicine cabinet. Steve received quite a few joke gifts for his 40th birthday and one of them was a box of "articease" knock offs. I'm still trying to decide if they are helping. As of right now, I would say YES!
