ruh roh

1. The husband has been down and OUT for 6 days with the flu.
2. At 5:30 a.m. a little tiny HOT 6 year old hand tickled my feet that were hanging off of the edge of my King size bed and woke me up. She had a 105 temp.
3. The boy woke up at 6am and says he's going to throw up.
4. I am currently on my knees praying that this passes me by completely.

ACK! I don't want to be sick.

I had a great night on Sunday at church for the new Revelation/Jazz combo. Seriously, it rocked! The best part was the very handsome and quite distinguished older gentleman directly in front of me that had his rump bumps swinging like Honkytonk Badonkadonk - but in triple time. SERIOUSLY AWESOME!

Last night my girlfriend, Sheryl, took me out to the Moreland House

for a belated birthday dinner and we talked for hours while eating ahi tacos and buffalo burgers and enjoying some wine - yum!

I'm hoping to be able to work with all these sickos around me. It's month end and Mama's gotta bring home the bacon! Also hoping to sneak out for a quick swim and I just remembered I'm supposed to have dinner with my Father-in-law tonight while Grandma's away at the coast with her Bridge Posse.

Let the day begin :D

You need to hook up an IV of zinc to ward off the flu! So sorry it has taken everyone out. Hang in there.

Buffalo burgers sound awesome.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you stay healthy.

Sky's wife Valerie is the artist. She's actually an artist by trade, and wicked talented. My page is all the crappy doodles. hahahha.

Oh, goodness...that's a lot of sick people in your house. My oldest and youngest just got over it, my husband has it now, and my middle son and I are just crossing our fingers. Of course, I'm in the thick of cuddling/caring for the sickies, so I'm really hoping my strong teacher constitution keeps me healthy! Good luck to you!

Your birthday dinner sounds great. I love the rare times I get to just go out to dinner with a friend and hang out and talk.

Hope you like The Help...I've been talking about it so much that I told my nephew I want my copy back so I can reread it! :)

Looks like they are staying away in droves at Moorelands House.

6 days with flu is brutal. I can't imagine.

Stay well!

The day's almost over and I'm still feeling good! Got my zinc in me and my Emergen-C. Swam almost 2000 yards and had dinner with my FIL - Subway Sandwiches. Ya...I'm not much of a cook.

Chris - the old gal looks pretty lonely on that bar stool doesn't she? The food was good. Service was fantastic! I stole this picture off their website, but it was totally that dead last night, too. Not sure why.
