First Days of School

First days of school have finally arrived. Jack had his orientation day on Tuesday and started regular classes today. He's feeling pretty tough in his Vader hologram backpack. Maybe it will keep the first graders from picking on my tender kindergarten kid.
Almost missed Mai's first day. I thought it was next week, but it was this morning. I got to stay with her for today and it was lots of fun. We decorated her tote bag a couple weeks ago so she was ready today! She had loads of fun in the "choosing room" doing artwork and playing "kitchen". I signed up to help out once a month in her class. I wish I could help in Jack's class but taking two days off a month on my already light on hours schedule would really be hard. Maybe I'll offer to do one day every other month or if someone calls in sick...dunno...
