We finally made it out to the pumpkin patch yesterday. Mai went with her class two weeks ago on about the rainiest day possible, so this was a much nicer time. Then we headed over to my in-laws neighborhood to see a monster house and were at my in-laws' when FIL's physician called with a diagnosis of NPH (Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus). He'll see a neurosurgeon this week. Hopefully a shunt will take care of the symptoms. It's a lifetime shunt that is permanently draining fluid around the brain into the abdomen.

My friend's husband has had NPH since he was a child and lives a happy, normal life. Well, even supernormal: he's a volunteer fireman in his spare time!
As soon as I can get back to my POPP book, I'll start the study back up with you! (Friday?)
Melissa - We're praying that the shunt will relieve all his symptoms - he's experiencing Alzheimer type symptoms and horrible headaches.
I went ahead and answered the Chapter 11 questions that were already posted ont he POPP blog. I'm so glad to be starting back up with it! I look forward to your answers and I'll get Chapter 12 questions up this weekend.
