Merry Christmas, Julie

My entire life, even as an adult, was always filled with Christmas presents from my parents. Even the first few years after Steve and I got married, there was quite a bit of gift exchanging between the parents and us, the siblings and us, and on and on. As the years have gone by we've tried to focus more on just the kids in the family, and I find it much more enjoyable to watch them open presents than to open them myself.

However, this year I signed up to do the Bloggie Gift Exchange that Tina organized, so I knew there would be at least one gift coming my way :-)

I've been waiting patiently and when I got home from the gym yesterday, Steve came back from the mailbox and said I had a present!!!!!! But, it wasn't from my secret santa. It was from Team In Training. A new earwarmer AND a blinking light! Training officially starts January 29th!!!!

Maybe my Secret Santa gift will arrive today. I'm feeling spoiled :-)

Are you all done Christmas shopping? I finally finished last night. Now I just have to remember where I hid the fish ...and remember to feed it for the next two days while it's hidden away.

I had to ask Tina for your information because there were NO CLUES on the gift.

Thank you so much for your secret santa gift! I couldn't wait to open it because I'm impatient like that! :) I loved the robots, absolutely perfect.

I'm done with shopping and have been for awhile. Thank goodness!! I went to the grocery store today and the parking lot was full and it was total chaos inside. Yuck!

The hat is awesome! I love things like that, that make you feel a part of the team. I'm going to get green arm sweat bands for my choose to lose group this year, last year I did bandanas. But I'm hoping it will make them work harder because they feel like part of a team!

My shopping is done! Hubby is heading out this morning for me (he does this every year, but i don't care cause he gets me good stuff, lol!) Do you and your husband exchange with each other?

Jess - the bloggy exchange was fun. It was fun getting to know someone new on their blog and trying to find just the right gift.

Lisa - I was so glad to be done! I wanted yesterday and today to be relaxing...not rushed.

Abby - Steve and I exchange gifts. He always knows just what to get me and I always suck. The last couple of years we've really kept it low key. I think he's making me something this year.
My husband always used to do all his Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve, too!!

I think your sweat bands sound awesome for the team to REPRESENT!
