Dear Vertically Challenged Gentleman,

I know that you thought you were fooling all of us in the sauna today by trying to sneak in with your wife's high heeled flip flops, but we didn't fall for it. I think it was the shoe COLOR that gave you away.

OR, you weren't trying to fool us at all.

Maybe you've just joined me and have decided with age that such things as man shoes vs woman shoes are just not of that much importance anymore. Actually, I think you may have noticed today that I've been flashing all the swimmers in the pool who happen to be wearing their goggles and can see underwater...
or for those that are goggleless, when I've been practicing my back stroke.

Yes, my "front" has been coming out of my "top" as my suit has become quite old and shall we say "long" with age. I'm tired of pulling it up and checking for flash every time I get to the wall. You see, I have not much money right now and I need not only a new swimsuit, but new goggles and new running shoes. My sport is expensive. I have to choose by importance.
The swimsuit easily lost.

I forgave you for your craziness today and looked away (with a smile). Please return the favor.

Sincerely,
Jubooblie

(giggle) I hear you. All of my suits are at least 2 years old, and none of them are made for serious swimming. Not that I do serious swimming, but I'm sure it was traumatic for all poolgoers when I was doing the swim portion of the virtual half ironman I did at Christmastime.

Hard choice...I'm not sure what I would have picked...new suit would be pretty high on my list. :) But I'm sure it will be enjoyed by many!

Hi Julie! Thanks for checking in on me!! I really want to get back into blogging, I honestly had NO time for a few weeks there, and now I just have to get back into it. How is your training going? I will back track and catch up but I hope it's going well! Your blog has grown :) That's awesome!

The flip flops. Hilarious.

The suit...do you all double up your suits? When I was in high school we'd wear the previous year's race suit (horrible school colors) over our practice suit for the year. This was for drag..But it might cover well too =D

I've never heard of the doubling up on suits before. Hm... I do have another one I can't wear due to to but seam seethroughness. Maybe if I pair them together I'll have a suit that works!

Ah jeeze!!! So been there!!!! I feel your pain with the expensive sport!! I love swimoutlet.com they have good sales often! And I don't know, maybe you know this but if you get a polyester suit it will fall apart before it stretches and fades. I had one that lasted 2 years, I was i the pool 2 hours a day about 4 days a week-lasted 2 years! The one I have now I is almost 2 years old and been in the pool 3 times a week. The stitching will disintegrate before the suit. My bootie seams ripped out on my old one, yep had to get out of the water and do the walk of shame, hands over my bottom all the way to the locker room! =) TOTALLY worth the $70.
