"Tri" ing For A Cause

In case you haven't noticed...I'm Fund Raising For The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and would love your support for this fabulous charity that is so deeply close to my heart. I'm training for a 1/2 Ironman for 149 Days (I'm gonna kill IT this time around) with Team in Training and I would love your words of wisdom and encouragement during my journey even if you cannot give in a financial type of way.

Although you will find lots of elite looking people doing triathlons, you will probably also notice quite a few people that look ...say...not so elite. Those would be MY people! Hardly ever in the aero position, but always with a smile on our face. Join me in a grand ol' time as this tri season gets A GOIN' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I truly believe the following quote:
"Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more" - Anthony Robbins

...and my something more right now is with Team in Training and a dedication to help fight this disease called cancer.  I believe that TNT is helping me to become something more and I endeavor to continue their cause.

ROCK ON!

I'm sure there is much more motivation in training for a race when there is a cause behind it. I love the quote, by the way

Wow, crazy comment you made about how when you sent a gift it had to go to your friends husbad. And, U.A.E. is the most progressive.

Wow! TNT is the way to go for a half iron!!!! Thank you for dedicating to this cause! I am doing it to for Seattle Rock n Roll! Such a wonderful feeling, isn't it!? I will come back and donate after April 1 if you remind me!!! I have been trying to donate a little to a lot of friends who are doing it as well! I told one friend that it is so awesome, every time I got the email about a donation made you would think the money was going to my own personal shopping account, I got THAT excited!!! It just feels SO good to be doing something! THANK YOU!
